The Duncan MacDougall Trophy was donated in 1984 by Duncan MacDougall (Club member from 1981).

The trophy originally was simply a glass vase and was used on the summer tour for many years for the winners of a foursomes competition. In 2016, a wooden base and silver band were purchased by the society and were engraved with the winners since 2009.

In 2024, it was decided to use the trophy for a foursomes competition in the afternoon of the spring meeting.
