The East India Club Trophy was donated by the Caledonian Club to the East India Club after World War II and is permanently kept by the East India Club. It is engraved:
To
The East India & Sports Club
from the
Caledonian Club
in appreciation of their hospitality
1940 – 1943
This recognises the hospitality shown by the East India Club to the members of the Caledonian Club when the Caledonian Club premises in St James Square was bombed during the second World War.
It was decided in 2005 to use the trophy for an annual match between the Caledonian Club Golfing Society and the East India Club.
