The Summer Cup was donated in 1968/1969 by Donald Fraser (Club member from 1952 to 1973).

It is played for on the first day of the Summer Tour as a bogey competition where each player plays against the course. The bogey scores are converted into a stableford equivalent for the purpose of determining the winner of the Victor Ludorum.
